Ghostbusters is a 1984 supernatural fantasy comedy film directed by the now deceased Ivan Reitman (who was also producer of Space Jam), and written by two of the actors of the movie, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It features the talents of Bill Murray (Garfield, Groundhog Day) as Peter Vankman, Dan Aykroyd (Pearl Harbor) as Ray Stantz, who are three parapsychologists starting up a business in capturing ghosts in New York. The movie also stars Sigourney Weaver (Alien, WALL-E) and Rick Moranis (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids), along with Annie Potts (Toy Story), Ernie Hudson, and William Atherton in side roles.
